Being still

Seal this heart that is so prone to wander
Seal this heart for Thy courts above!

Hide me away with Christ in You.
"1 If then you have been raised with Christ, seek the things that are above, where Christ is, seated at the right hand of God. 2 Set your minds on things that are above, not on things that are on earth. 3For you have died, and your life is hidden with Christ in God. 4When Christ who is your life appears, then you also will appear with him in glory." (Colossians 3:1-4)

Draw me closer and closer to You
to be in awe of You
to be humbled and amazed by Your love and mercy
to rest in Christ
to abide in Your love

It's going to take a long time for me to stop wandering, to learn to hear Your still, small voice, as it takes time for the blessed intimacy to grow. But by Your grace, I'm going to keep at chronicling this amazing love story. To You be the glory!
