=) this is one of my favourites... I used to sing it every time I walked alone from the Bishan MRT station to MOELC for French lessons back in Singapore, and from then, almost every time I'm take relatively long walks on my own, when I'm simply in awe of Him =)

I've been thinking about the holiness of God recently, and learning what it means to be in awe of Him.
We were singing Glory (also by Hillsong) the other day and I looked up Psalm 24 for that in Matthew Henry's Commentary:

This psalm is concerning the kingdom of Jesus Christ, I. His providential kingdom, by which he rules the world, ver. 1,2. II. The kingdom of his grace, by which he rules in his church. 1. Concerning the subjects of that kingdom; their character (ver. 4, 6), their charter, ver. 5. 2. Concerning the King of that kingdom; and a summons to all to give him admission, ver. 7-10. It is supposed that the psalm was penned upon occasion of David's bringing up the ark to the place prepared for it, and that the intention of it was to lead the people above the pomp of external ceremonies to a holy life and faith in Christ, of whom the ark was a type

¹ The earth is the LORD's, and everything in it,
the world, and all who live in it;

² for he founded it upon the seas
and established it upon the waters.

³ Who may ascend the hill of the LORD ?
Who may stand in his holy place?

⁴ He who has clean hands and a pure heart,
