pre-convocation thoughts

the last two months have been a blur and I really really want to say sorry to my friends and my family for the many areas i've failed you in.

it just happens that my convocation is on the last day of classes at Seneca too (which unfortunately means final tests and assignments due).
somehow i haven't thought of what a big deal convocation for undergraduate studies is... i've always thought these 4 years would just be a the stepping stone to something more important. the big struggle still exists and i'm still struggling to focus on what's most important. at this moment, i'm still confused with the details and this is reflected most when others tell me "not to give up if that's what you really want and you're doing it for the right reasons".

fixing our eyes on Him, keeping the end in mind, running the race well
anyhow, i want to leave off with this really really encouraging blogpost - Intentionality of a holy life
loving her question of the day: “What does it mean to you to hear His voice and to be able to obey His voice? What are His values that He would show us are His priorities in contrast to those of the world or even of Christian churches? What work does He want us to be about so that when we meet Him face to face, we can present a stewardship of having listened to and followed His voice? ”
